Greetings Richard.
My grandchildren's family is very loosely connected with Hezekiah Sephton.
Their ancestor Edward HANGER was a 1820 settler, went out on the "Ocean".
His son William Joseph HANGER, born 1840, married Catharina Jacomina
FERREIRA, daughter of Thomas Ignatius FERREIRA and Joanna KEMP.
Catharina had a number of sisters who married settlers, including Elizabeth
Johanna Maria FERREIRA, who married William SEPHTON, a descendant of
Hezekiah.
I am particularly interested in the HANGERs, but have no idea where they
came from in England. I have looked on the IGI and it seems as if Hezekiah
SEPHTON and his family came from Miston, Nottingham, rather than
Warwickshire. He was baptised 6th September 1776. Will email the IGI names
separately if you do not already have them. But I got them off the LDS Site
which is readily accessible. www.familysearch.com
