I have looked at the death notices index , 1911-1958, and found no
trace of William Scott Caldwell. Also nothing in the 1934 United
Transvaal Directory when he would have been 30 years old.

My questions - (1) Would the death of a child be recorded as a death
notice or just a death certificate?
(2) Is there an index for death notices
after 1958?
