Dear All,
I joined this newbie - list for a while and they are great with newbies!!
They have Sarge there
and he is so patient with everybody and allows NO
flames etc. It is worthwhile to join them, just for the tips and to learn
just about everything whilst
getting to know the "how-to-do-its"!
If you are prepared to have quite "a bit" of e-mail,
this is the place for newbies to learn and for
oldies? to learn to bear with those who DO NOT KNOW!
Regards to all you good people AND the not-so-good
people too
Elize

Hi
Wayne's comment that newbies' questions seem to be ignored - yes, well
they keep asking things that are very clearly explained on Conrod's site,
or have been dealt with in the recent past and can easily be found in the
List Archive (both addresses are advertised every day).

Fay's suggestion for a "welcome committee" has merit, if you can find
enough patient people to man it.

Motto : when you subscribe to a new List hang around for a couple of
days, then ask where the Archive can be found. Hopefully that way you
learn a lot very quickly and you don't look quite so stupid when you do
hit the send button.
