Come on Dafanie, don't be intimidated...
if they have such strong convictions then they should have the guts to stand
up by name for them!
How come you've been singled out?
The Boer War has been referred to previously 100's and 100's and 100's of
times on this list so that people can research their family in an efficient
manner. They're going to be VERY BUSY emailing everyone anonymously.
By using that particular name does not imply that you or any other person
agreed with the actions of any one side, it's what it's always been called!
I'm sure if I posted a query about an ancestor involved in the

no-one would have any idea what the hell we were talking about.

For goodness sake I refuse to be supposedly politically correct to avoid
supposed insults to people who don't give their names. Let's get on with the
genealogy now & leave poor Dafanie alone!
