Anybody out there who might help explain why a man (James Haywood) would
come out to the Cape Colony en famille in 1859 (Sir George Grey Immigration
Scheme) only to repatriate (date unknown) later to Bournville and die (1909)
in his house which he called "Rhodesia". Although he attended 'chapel' and
appears to have been a Baptist whilst living at Port Elizabeth - why would
he end up in a Quaker community? Anybody knowledgeable about Bournville
near Birmingham? Anybody know about R.H. Walpole of Port Elizabeth who was
Secretary of the Port Elizabeth Assurance & Trust Company?

Much obliged
