On the basis of some expanded information I'm re-posting my request. I
have two relatives who immigrated to South Africa around the turn of the
previous century. One is Charles WHYTOCK who married (in Durban) Mary Jean
NICOL (she died 1940) and had two children Charles John Nicol and Jean
Elizabeth.
The other is William WHYTOCK who married (also in Durban) Amy DEACON who
died in 1905. They had a daughter Annie who married Robert Charles Lowndes
BRANDON-KIRBY.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who connects to these names.
