To stop the 'Install on Demand' messages: In main program window, go to Tools
menu, choose 'Options', choose 'Connection' tab, 'change' button, 'advanced'
tab. Under 'browsing' you will see the item 'enable install on demand' - just
ensure this box is not ticked.

The original poster (Anne Doggett) must have her font set to a non-English
encoding. Any replies made to her posts using the reply function will appear in
the same format, so after pressing 'reply', set the font encoding to 'Western
European' - if using Outlook Express, look under the 'Format' menu. This is for
the current message being sent.

Anne - please - change your default: In the main OE window go to the Tools
menu, Options, 'send' tab, 'International Settings', and choose Western
European. If you're not using OE, there will be a similar process in other mail
programs.

Also, make sure messages are set to 'plain text'.
