This is a question that I might well have referred to yourself!!
However, as your man was a Rhodesia Railways pensioner, and
assuming that there is no DN in the Cape records, I wonder
whether your man's estate was not wound up in Salisbury, in which
case one would need to get someone in Harare to nip into the
archives at Gun Hill.
