Ill pass your message on the Verona Blake who published a book on the Blakes
and found this among her research.

Frederick John Blake
x St. Katherines, Uitenhage 1.3.1909 to Bertha Alice Dicks
1. Peter Frederick *31.1.1910 Johannesburg +18.8.1978 Uitenhage
x Katerina Francina Magdalena Barnard
xx Aletta M BOtha
1. Marguriete Johanna x John Ockert Nel
2. Frederick Peter
3. Kathleen Florence x Strydom
4. Doreen Francis

Maybe she can look them up on the voters roll and see if she can find an
address.

Subject: Missing BLAKE family

Hi Folks,
I am trying to trace the desendants of my ancestor, Frederick John BLAKE,
born 18 th June 1853 at Greenwich, England, the son of Peter and Elizabeth
Jane ( nee WOOTTON) BLAKE.Frederick died on the 11th May, 1923 at the
Settler's Hospital, Grahamstown, Cape of Good Hope. he left a widow
(possibly called Birdie) and a son Peter who was born about June 1909 and he
was married in Grahamstown on the 2nd January, 1938 to Katie by whom he had
2 children, Peter and Margaret, both possibly now in their late 50's or
60's.
Any information would be much appreciated. TIA Judy McCulloch.
