I have used FTM for years (since Version 3) I like it very much. But there
are several disadvantages. It it totally USA orientated with lots of
freebies if you have American families. It has a wonderful map section, all
USA. AND worst of all if you open a web site there and enter your family
tree, though you alone can get access to it, you have to buy any others that
you think may be relevant. ! I checked on some Frykbergs who went there in
the 19C from Sweden and yes they are there with some incorrect information
on us but I cannot contact the people who entered the info unless I buy Vol
50 #1811!!!.(Only $99.00US) I managed to sideswipe that by contacting
someone who lives near there and they phoned through. Apparently you can get
the info if you phone!!
FTMs other features are great and very user friendly.
Pat.
