I am looking for relatives of Dudley Campbell Stevens who was born 11 Nov
1874 in Caithness Scotland. He immigrated to Sierra Leone at some point
in his life and remained there til death. He had one son which was named
after him. Is there a place that I might find immigration records for him.
I am guessing that he was in the army and chose to return to Sierra Leone
after the Boer War. Was there a part of the country that seemed to attract
more immigrants than others that would be advisable to research. I am new
to research in Africa and what is available to the public. SO any help
would be so much appreciated.
