Hello John,
Would you perhaps have any information on my g-g-grandfather, R SMITH?
He was the post-master of King Williamstown and died circa 1873. All I know
about him was that he was an ex-soldier, lived for a time at Alice (or
Adelaide) and was responsible, while in the military, for dispatching post
to the far raeches of the realm! He had a daughter, Julia Amelia, who
married Charles Osborne FENNELL and a daughter, Catherine, who married a Mr
BAIN.
Any connection?
Regards,
Vaughan
