In SAG 5, p. 671:

Adriaan MOORHEES van Groningen * 1781 + 7.3.1815 (34.1.25), kommisaris van die
desolate boedelkamer x huwewlikshof, Kaapstad 26.5.1805 Anna Barbara SMUTS

The (34.1.25) is age at death, 31 years, 1 month, 25 days.

He does not appear in "Personalia of the Germans ...", but maybe I am wrong in
thinking that Groningen is in Germany.

There is a biography in DSAB III, which I do not have.

Best wishes
Keith

Does anyone know what church this Rev. Moorrees belonged to? Or an address
of the church?
Has anyone a clue about the origin of this name? One NAAIRS document refers
to Mauritius.
thanks
