Althea died in 1950, not 1903!!

Take a look in the SA Archives. I found a number of probable family members
by searching on combinations like Williams and Poultney, Sephton and Poultney,
etc.

I am new to the list and posting this for a friend who has been of tremendous
help with my UK families.

<He is related to John WILLIAMS the Missionary and Martyr of Erromanga, and is
looking for families of his descendants. It is known that two of his
grandchildren settled in SA, One was Henry Murray Chawner WILLIAMS born in
Apia Upala, Samoa, married in Cape Province, in 1893 to Althea Eliza POULTNEY
who was born in Cape Province in 1871, daughter of Thomas Philip Poultney and
Elizabeth SEPHTON. Althea died 1903. It is known that they had two sons John
Ray and Henry Cecil, both born Johannesburg. They may have had more children.
Henry's brother George Arthur also came to SA, married Isabel MANN abt 1886
and settled in Harrismith where they had 7 children . Including Arthur Sydney
b 1890 who emigrated to Kenya and John William Miller WILLIAMS who married ?
and stayed in SA. >

I have checked the list archives, but now wonder if there is anyone else
researching these families? or where the best place to start searching for
information would be?
