Hallo Gerhard

There are two books that give details of immigrants from UK - the one covers
the 1820 Settlers: The Settler Handbook by M D Nash and the other Aided
Immigration by Esme Bull for the period thereafter.

Do you have any idea of the date when your Quinn arrived in South Africa -
that might narrow the search.

I have a family of Quinns as neighbours - first generation settlers from
Ireland
