Hallo Merle

If your grandmother died in Wanderer's View in Johannesburg during 1938 it
is very likely that she is buried in the Brixton Cemetery - it is an "open"
cemetery with sections for war graves and various denominations. The
registers are kept at Braamfontein Cemetery - I am not aware that they do
telephonic searches.

I drive past the Braamfontein Cemetery every Wednesday on my way to the LDS
Library and then on to the National Archives in Pretoria - I will check the
registers then and let you know.

Please send me as much detail as possible before Tuesday PM .

Regards
