Hi there,

Just wanted to share with you my thoughts about another list I recently
joined. After reading the threads through for a week or so, I have decided
to cancel rather than participate. The folk who contribute do not come
over as warm, sincere or friendly. In fact, they are downright rude,
sarcastic, 'orrible and just plain silly!

What a difference between them (unidentified, but some of you will probably
guess who I am talking about) and your good selves. I love to read all
your requests and replies. I have learned so much about S.A. and enjoy
being swept up in the hunt for ancestors even when they are not mine. Your
joy is my joy! I rather suspect that it depends heavily on who runs the
list as I am sure some of the remarks would never get through here.
Keep it up, friends.

I wonder how many 'foreigners' to this group tried the recipe for Bobotie at
the weekend and how many S.A. folk laughed and thought, "That old dish!"

I used 2 eggs!!!!!
