Colin,
I am sure it means a lady from the island of Saint Helena, situated 16°
00'S 005° 45'W in the South Atlantic.

Listers,
In my late father's memoirs he mentions that when he was about four
years old (1920) his nursemaid was 'a Santalena woman'
Now, can anyone throw some light on this? What was the significance of a
Santalena woman?
Is it a place name, a group name or what?
Thanks in anticipation,
Colin
