Hi Derek

My father's uncle, Charles Kenneth TODD, a private in the Cape Mounted
Police, died suddenly aged 18 in a camp at Roodenek (or Rooi Nek in the
family bible) in the Eastern Cape in 1903. His death notice is in the Cape
Archives, and it says that an inquest was held. I would love to know the
cause of his death. I've written to the SA Police Museum and am awaiting a
reply. Meanwhile, do you know if the Archives is likely to have this
information? I didn't think to ask.

Jill
