Have already checked with Volume 1 , I seem to be one generation short
of linking what I have with the listing in the Volume 1.

My Grandfather Rudolf Johannes Britz was born on a Kimberly mine on 23
May 1899.(according to a notation on my late fathers birth certificate)
His father was also a Rudolf Johannes Britz (worked on the mine) and his
mother Maria Magdalena van der Merwe.

Have you seen "South African Genealogies" Volume 1? It has a number of
pages on your family, from the earliest arrival. You can find it in
many libraries, or at

(click on "book sales").

If you post the particular names you are looking for, you will usually
get better responses. And, include the dates and places, if you know
them.
