I have an undated photocopy of a news paper article
describing the marriage of my grandfather Solomon
YAMEY to Leah HALPERIN in Cape Town at a date most
probably shortly before 1915.

In it the clothing worn by some of the ladies who
attended is described. A number of these ladies are
easily identifiable as members of the family. There
are a number of names that at present mean nothing to
me.

They are:
Miss Lily EMDIN, Mrs. M. EMDIN and her sister-in-law
Mrs. A. EMDIN
Miss Sophie SCHUR
Miss HORWITZ of Faure
Mrs. David BINDER
Mrs KAPOLEWITZ
Mrs. Morris ALEXANDER
Mrs. KRUSKEL
Mrs. Rose WHITTEN
Miss UDELMAN
Miss HOFFMAN
Mrs KLEIN from Potterville
Miss BERKAINTZ
Mrs. SCHULEMAN
Miss Goldi LEVY

Does anyone recognise any of these names? Please do
let me know as it will help me build up a picture of
my great-grandparents' social circle.
