Hello Fiona
On the death of a person who has assets in South Africa, the
Master of the High Court will require a Death Notice to be
submitted. This is in order to satisfy him that every effort has been
made to discover the rightful heirs to the estate. It doesn't matter
where that person dies, the requirement is the same.
with best wishes
William
