I was given a third name CRANSWICK at baptism. I always hid it until
doing genealogy and what a boon it was. My father must have had a sense of
the past because when searching in Natal for my grandmother's parentage I
came across the name. I really got a shock.Since then have discovered it was
my g.grandmother's maiden name and I have now established some amazing
connections and coincidences
It was a large family in Bridlington E.Yks. My g.gran came with husband to
Natal. Two brothers came to NZ and would you believe that a descendent of
one of them lives in the next street?
