Maybe "Billingsgate" was a farm name.
I have a Willem Hendrik Marthinus Abraham Kempen, of Yzervarkspoort,
Vicvtoria West, SA. Yzervarkspoort is the farm name. (In meaning it
translates to 'Porcupine Pass'.)

Michele Farmer and Ralph.Anderson for their assistance and advice. As for
the Billingsgate place name I must admit that I am now more than ever a bit
sceptical as to its veracity of the message we received from a family member
(who was not a ex Rhodesian!) due to the very vague nature of its contents.
But then we must always try to ascertain the facts that may be there.
