Hi Lesli
I had a look at the map of Germany, and made an assumption that the place Guested is
a typo.
In Saxony-Anhalt, there are two towns that might be the places referred to.
They are Querstedt in the north of the state, and Quenstedt further south.
This is speculation on my part - what do other listers think?
