Hi Rhoda
Maybe the farm had a lot of water, which would make the land very fertile?
If so, it could mean Big water ?
-Khulu big
-imukile so big
amanzi water
Khulu amanzi or imukile amanzi
Regards
Becky
>>I have recently discovered that a farm that my grandfather purchased in
the early 1900's in Western Australia was called by what my parents are led
to believe was a South African name. I believe the former owner of the
property had been from South Africa.
So far as I can put it onto paper the name appears to have been of three
words. When my mother spoke the words they sounded like 'Manzi i Coola'.
She didn't know the spelling but said the meaning was supposed to be 'Cool
Waters'. >>
