Hello Cynthia

I have not been able to find a Kapp river, but there is the Kap river
which is not far from Grahamstown. Unfortunately, none of our
placename books (Botha - Pettman - Raper) give the etymology of this
Kap. My earliest map of the area, the 1822 survey made by Knobel,
gives this name for the river.
