Does anyone know of the descendants living or not of
Philippus Albertus MADER born 1835 died 1904 who
married probably three times; the second of which was to
Sophia Bennison Earle, formerly Rubidge probably after
1860? There were a number of children: John Montagu,
Henry Gordon, Philip Albert, Percy Lionel, Gladys Evelyne
and Edmund. Philippus Albert was on the 1878 voters roll for
Colesberg but there is a mortgage bond in favour of Henry
CARSON which was drawn up in Ceres and Sophia died in
Malmesbury.

After Sophia died, Philippus Albertus married Alice HEYS.
