If he was an Anglican clergyman, he'll be in the volumes of Crockford's Directory for the relevant years, with some more biographical details. They aren't online, but are in numerous libraries.

Interesting to see a ROBINS here in SA in the 1880's.
My maternal grandfather was a Robins and came out here from Devon in 1910.
My late Mom was born in Cape Town.
I would love to know who this W.H.ROBINS was.
