I am in the process of researching my ancestry on my mother side. Her mother was born a Grundling and is Bonnie Sydow's Aunt. Unfortunately I only found out about Bonnie's 14 years of research into our Ancestry after he passed away in Aug 2009. I am in contact with his daughter but she has to sort out his computer (which has all the information on it) before she can send me any information, which might take awhile.

My grandmother was the daughter of Hester Petronella Strydom (b. 1892 - d.1957) and Andries Everhardus Daniel Grundling (b.1885 - d.1940). I am trying to trace the Grundling side of the family and the only information I have is the name of my Great Grandfather, as listed above. I have been able to get the information of the Strydom side of the family from a website that Dan Strydom has put together with the help of Bonnie Sydow. The web site is http://incolor.inetnebr.com/strydom/geslagsregisters/indeks.htm It also lists the family trees for the Rheeder, Cloete, Nysschen and Zietman families

There seems to be a few people on this mailing list that are linked to the Strydom, Rheeder and Grundling families, if you have a match in your family tree to the Grundling's and the name of my great grandfather is a match in your family tree, please can you send me your gedcom file or any family history you might know? Any information you can share with me will be greatly appreciated!
