Hi Bob:
I must thanks you for your concern about my Trenches search in England and
Ireland. It seems that I will have to start St. Catherine way, as everybody
does. I have notice your interest in:

>can you tell me whether you can obtain death certificates and/or land
>records in BA pse -- we might then be able to help each other (ie
>reciprocal research).
It happens that in a couple of days, I will be staying in the Boston area
for the next 3 months (). http://www.concord.org I told my
two brothers Eduardo and Peter about your needs and they showed eagerness
to cooperate with you and start both searches. While I will be out of the
country they can be located at ( Mail will be
received there and handled to them). I ready your bio at your Web page,
andit seems that we have similar interests. I am also a chartered
ElectronicEngineer and Physicist. I did later postgrad. at MIT, Grenoble
and Southampton ( Laser Group and fiber optics research). Now I lecture
courses in Physics at Del Salvador Univ. in B.A. and do consulting work
in" Hands on in science with computers". Besides, I have a small company
with my kids here in B.A.dedicated to build all kind of electronic
interfaces and sensors conditioning for education in High school and Univ..
I am currently consulting with T.E.R.C. (in Cambridge, USA) and the
Concord Consortium in USA and now I will spent a period with them to
develop new gizmos.
My father was a real tycoon with electronics, he worked for many years at
the local branck of Marconi company buildind RF transmitters, also a radio
amateur. I remember in 1947 myself calling to G5RV from LU8BA(LU8BAJ)
traying locate my father at that time in Chelmsford UK.He introduced me to
Wireless World. An d put me to follow his track. Mi grandfather and all his
brothers worked all their life for the British railroards in B.A.He stared
as an office boy and ended up secretary of the Board of trustess. He
retired and gave English lessons. He was Anglican but the rest of us are
Catholics , his wife was French descendant and got pretty well with this
issue. He read the Times and had sacred 5 O'Clock tea, also was soccer
player of the first football team in Argentina ( Alumni) and founder of
the CASI ( San Isidro Athletic Club).
It is on his honor that we want to settle this genealogical query.
Cheers Jorge
