Hello everbody
This is my first shot at this list and I do not know if I am trying the
right one. If I am in the wrong place, or anyone knows of a more
appropriate list, please tell me. The period may be a bit too recent for
your speciality.
My search is for information about my uncle born in Bradford, Yorkshire
on 20th Feb 1890 who went to Argentina some time after 1920 following
WW1. He must have died some years ago or would now be aged about 108.
Unfortunately all contact was lost long ago. He is thought to have had
two families over there.
His name and last know address was
Percy Edward Northing
Centenario 1090
Alvear 3344
Corrientes
Argentina
He was perhaps known as a "Professor of English" over there so may have
worked as a teacher of some kind. Although when I knew about him in
about 1935 he was a cowboy, working with cattle, I think for Bovril or
some such.
Contact with anyone in Corrientes would be a great help.
All help much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Pete
