Information sought on Robert EDGAR who married Ann KEYS in Bs As 1835. Ann's parents were Richard KEYS (b.Limerick or Tipperary) and Catherine (nee LAW,b.Cork) who arrived in Buenos Aires on the brig 'Harmony' on 6th Feb 1826.Robert and Ann subsequently moved to Montevideo and both died there - in 1846 and 1841 respectively. Robert's origins are not known but he was born c.1810-1815,possibly in County Down. I have a record of a Robert EDGAR born 10th September 1814 and baptised at Boardmills Presbyterian Church but it is a very long shot.
I understand that there are many EDGARs in New Zealand. Any contacts?
