Hi there list, am researching one Clifford Treverton
The General Directory has an entry:
Treverton, C., Contaduría, F.C.C.A., and Victoria

Interpreting it: He worked in the Accounts Department of the Ferrocarril
Central Argentina (i.e. the Argentine Central Railway) and lived in
Victoria, then a pleasant village/suburb northwest of Buenos Aires,
outside the Federal Capital, 23 kilometres out from Retiro, the FCCA
terminus station, on the suburban line to Tigre.

This info kindly passed on from Jeremy Howat (thank you so much Jeremy).

Could someone please see if there is anyone of that name TREVERTON still
living in the area, by looking in the local phone listings? Would love
to hear from anyone who is able to that for me,
