Readers may be interested to know about a conference scheduled for October
3rd-5th in Punta del Este, Uruguay. To quote the organisers " This first meeting
(which) will gather representatives of British Associations and Communities
of the whole region, as well as important personalities, is aimed at analyzing
the past, present and future of the British presence in South America and
Mexico. The meeting will be composed of a variety of activities intended to show
the magnitude and importance of British immigration to this part of the world."
