Dear Listers,

To complement others' questions, does anybody know if there are records
in the UK of railway company employees/contractors in Argentina and
Uruguay? At least for the Irish, numbers of 1880-1930 settlers were
employed as engine drivers, stokers, station masters, etc. (cf. census
1895)... Edmundo

Dear Peter Walker

I am researching Argentine Railways. My father worked there 30
years. I
would be interested in any articles you may have on the building and
their
lives especially pre-war.

Regard

Lois Bird-Maddox
