My deepest condolences to Clive, I have never met Mr. Henly but the idea
was fantastic.

I am sure all list members will be sorry to hear that Bob Henly has
died. This mailing list was his idea and he has enthusiastically
encouraged all those with an interest in South America over the past ten
years.

His son, Clive, contacted me to say that his father passed away last
Friday after a long illness, borne with
great courage and dignity.
He told very few people of his illness, and Bob was still giving me
advice on administration of the mailing list just before Christmas.
He will be greatly missed
