Grace Stanfield Benningfield, 96, Louisville, died Wednesday, Dec 3, 1997, at
Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.

She was a member of Bicknell Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, a former
resident of Magnolia and a member of Liberty #245 Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband, Bruce Benningfield, and three sons, Clarence, Calvin, and Kenneth
Benningfield preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Irene Kidd, Wilma Busam and Shirley Wood all
of Louisville; four sons, Claude Benningfield, MS; Bruce and Walter
Benningfield, both of Louisville; Larry Benningfield, Brandenburg, several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 AM Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral
Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., Louisville. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery at
Mount Sherman. Eastern Star services were held at the funeral home.
Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home of Magnolia Handled the Arrangements.
