From Dr. Godbey's Diaries
Saturday, February 18, 1911

Visited Bob Lively's wife's son, who is in last stages of consumption, both of
lungs & bowels. Louis E. Toohey brought his daughter, Lillie, over this
afternoon, glands of neck are enlarged. I placed her on Arsenic Iodide. No
question in my mind but what she will improve. Never heard from Peggie this
AM. I dined with Taylor's folks for dinner.

My comments:
Louis Edward Toohey was the son of Hugh Toohey and Mary Matilda "Till"
Poynter. He was born 16 Feb 1872, died 18 May 1953 and married Annie Young
Monroe in 1894. I have no information on his daughter Lillie. Hoooo boy!
Arsenic Iodide sounds as if it would be quite toxic. I also have no
information on Bob Lively and family.
