Hoed in garden some; also sweet potatoe patch. Stayed home and behaved
myself. We got a letter from Nigger stating Nancy would stopp work next
Saturday, June 10th. Joe Toohey phoned he had named his boy Bryan O'Kelly
Toohey. I told him he could improve on the Irish by saying O'Bryan O'Kelly
O'Toohey.
My comments:
(giggle) A little jab, in fun, at the Irish, Folks. Apparently, later in
life, the boy dropped the O' prefix and was known as Kelly Toohey. His
siblings were: Silas, David, Louis, Ford, Edith and Emma. Sorry, I don't have
the dates of birth for any of these, except Kelley. He was born, you
remember, May 29, 1911.
