Hoed out pop corn in Irish Potatoe patch. Soon after I finished I was called
to see Mr. Ike Briggs, who was suffering intense with pain. West, Loula
(Lula) May & Beatrice were here this PM. I went as far as the store with
them. I took my beauty knapp just after dinner. We rec'd a card from Hallie.
My comments:
Briggs was, and is, a common name in the area. In fact, a good many are
buried at Camp Ground Cemetery, however, I can't place any of them as "Ike".
Ike usually is a nickname for Isaac and I find no reference to Isaac Briggs.
