Mr. George Monroe got heart tablet(s). We cleaned, replaced things in both
rooms. Peggie & Aunt Lize papered little room. I cleaned and put up
medicine; it was a job to(o). Was so tired when night came I could scarcely
grunt. Peggie was completely fizzled out and Aunt Lize went home with a pain
in her belly.

My comments:
I think, dear friends, this must have been what men throughout the ages have
most dreaded. SPRING CLEANING! (Gasp!) Who said that hard work never hurt
anybody?
