Early call to see Louis Bransford's wife. Returned home in time for 10:30
service at tent. Good spiritual meeting! Big crowd at night. Quite a no.
of Cedar Hill Singers were over, they led the singing at night service. I
enjoyed it very much! Went to C. C. this afternoon.

My comments:
So......this was an old fashioned "Tent Meeting." I haven't been to one of
those in years! In the Baptist Church, where I grew up, they would have tent
revivals with "dinner on the grounds," called potlucks today. Very often,
singing or musical groups would be brought in to contribute to the services.
My wife's father, Paul Monroe Page, a vocalist, did this for many years for
Christian Churches, traveling from Tennessee to Texas.
