April 20 1812 session with Thos DICKINSON, John POOL, Thos WINN & Wm T BUSH
present. Marshall ESTES estate appraisal recorded. Road report from the end
of Wm TRIGG's meadow towards the mouth of Beaver Creek established and that
the proposed road near Boyd's Creek from mouth to Wm PICKETT's lane
intersection be quashed. Dan CURD appt surveyor of road from Wm TRIGG's
meadow to the mouth of Boyd's Creek. Frederick MOSS surveyor of state road
from Glasgow to the east end of John McFERRAN's lane. Fredrick SMITH same
from Warner CLARK's to the Blue Spring Grove. Mahlan HALL same from the
east end of John McFERRAN's lane to Warner CLARK's. Henry COOK same from
the Blue Spring to EDGAR's Branch. James EDGAR same to the Elk Lick. Isham
HARDY same from Thos K SLAUGHTER's on the Nashville Road to the Bear
Wallow. Wm THOMPSON same from SLAUGHTER's to THOMPSON's.

Review of a road from Glasgow to the mouth of Shoal Creek proposed; road
maintained with Wm ANDERSON and Jordan GLASBROOK to pay costs of lawyer's
fee. Report of road which was part of FLIPPIN's road produced - new way
passing thru Richard GREEN's land, passed through CROGHAN's land. James
FITZGEREL surveyor of road from HIGGIN's Mill to GARDNER's from BUTLER's
Gap to the county lineinstead of Elijah DAVIDSON and Joel YANCY and
Benjamin BUSTER to allot hands.

John BARRETT exempt from paying taxes for one retail store for 1811. Geo W
REYNOLD, infant of Polly REYNOLDS, he aged 2 yrs and 8 months, bound by
Clerk to Robt H.BIRD until age 21 to learn farming. Robt H BIRD to keep in
his hands installments as they become due for support of Geo W REYNOLDS,
infant bastard child of Polly REYNOLDS. Ordered that Celia BREEDING, infant
of Jno, age 2 yrs and 5 months, bound by Clerk to Levi PEDIGO until she is
21 to learn art of housekeeping. Inquest of the body of Holt RICHARDSON,
schedule of property shown by Charles HARVEY, cosntable. Dan CURD sworn as
a Constable, took oath, postedbond with Edmund HALL and Havilah CRUMP. Wm
PICKETT allowed to keep tavern at his house; went bond with Jesse SAUNDERS.
Thomas DICKINSON & Thos WINN appt Judges of the Election of Trustees. John
YANCY vs John MAYFIELD on appeal from a judgment of WM T BUSH - had been
found in favor of MAYFIELD. Parties came into court, case dismissed.
John MAYFIELD to pay Isaac MAYFIELD to testimony, and also to pay Thos
MAYFIELD.

On back of this, the last page, of order book 3: Jane MATTHEWS, widow of
John and William t BUSH made oath and she allowed administratorship on his
estate. John GORIN, Henry CRUTCHER, John MONROE & Jas H RICE (any 3) to
appraise the above estate.

Archibald MILLER came into court and denounced allegiance to the Kingdom of
Brittian [sic] and all other kingdoms and declared himself a citizen of
America, took the Oath of Fidelity of the United States. W.LOGAN to settle
with George BLAIN (former Sheriff) for the 1809 levy.
