April 19 1813 session. Present: John POOL, Leon'd H MAURY, Landmon SHORT
and Arch SLOAN. David HARDIN made motion that William Howard, Jesse
HOWARD, Wm BARR and Christopher HOWARD view for a road alteration from
BREED's Branch to the head of Indian Creek, beginning at mouth of the lane
between HARDIN and Seth HOWARD, then to White Oak branch. Note: In now
Monroe Co. J PACE made motion that a commission issue to take the
relinquishment of dower of wife of Reubin DOOLY to a deed from Dooly to
said Pace - Dooly now living in the State of OH. Tho's HALL made motion
that Wm RENICK, Archer CRADDOCK, Gabriel AMENT, Henry COOK (any 3) settle
accts of Mary SCOTT who is administrator of Joseph SCOTT. Report of the
division of estate and lands of Michael BRANSTETTER decd between heirs.
Inventory & appraisal of estate of Wm BISHOP returned.

Joseph HENDRICK vs Lipscomb NORVELL on appeal - former judgment set aside.
Isaac LINDSAY made motion that he be allowed to perform marriages in Barren
Co for the Methodist Church - bond with Jehu HAWKINS, approved. George
WALTERS made motion that Fleming SHORT, John FOSTER, James GREEN & George
SUTHERLAND (any 3) view part of a road from town to CRENSHAW's lower mill -
to run between HIGGINS and WALTER's line. Havilah CRUMP allowed to keep a
tavern in Barren Co; bond with Robert DOUGHERTY. Francis LATTERMORE made
motion that summons issue against Rachel SMITH, administrator & executor of
William SMITH dec'd, she alias Rachel WOOD - Jos WOOD her husband (she had
remarried) to show cause why she shouldn't give counter security to deliver
the decedant's estate into hands of LATTERMORE. A list of hands to work
uner Jaems DODD, surveyor of a road from Cave Spring to opposite John
DUFF's returned. Appraisal of estate of William SMITH returned. James
STINSON appt surveyor of road from the head of Indian Creek to BREED's
Branch in room of John HOWARD.
