The William BURD mentioned in Apr 1805 is William Spencer BURD, my
5GGrandfather, who was b. abt 1750 in Spartansburg, SC d. 1822 in Hart Co.,
KY m. Elizabeth BROOKS, b. in SC. William and Elizabeth moved from
Spartansburg, SC to Hart Co., KY in the 1790s. He was a Revolutionary War
veteran serving under Col. Brandon. He was kicked out of the church once
for "rioting".
