If this was my research family, I would go with a surname, LANGSTON, as a
possible mother of this man. COOK-LANGSTON-GRIFFIN-GARRETT, all
concentrated in Laurens, SC. One clue: There appears both Nathan(iel)
LANGSTON and Nathan(iel) BACON. I am going to type in a will from Edgefield
that may have an answer. Many of the Edgefield families once lived in
Laurens...will send will soon. Audrey
