Berry,
Would you have run into any in fo on the Dean/Deen family. One source says
of NC, another states SC. Richard Dean was a soldier in the Rev. War. Have
no idea who his wife or ancestors were. Trying to prove his children were:
Micajah (no dates, this was my ancestor), Elijah, Sally, Rebecca, and
others. Would love anything you might have run into. Micajah "might" have
been an Indian Fighter" or such. He was found in St. Augustine, Fla and the
Live Oak area of Florida. Believe he died approx. 1860. He married
Rhoda(?). Their children were Mary Ann Dean who married my great
grandfather, William Henry Rousseau, (?born in or near Macon, Ga?) Also a
son Thaddeus Dean.
Thanks,
Elizabeth Rousseau Godfrey
