My husband is the real gardening expert around here....after all this is
the first time he has ever shown any interest in the garden and I have
been gardening my whole life !*grin* Strange how that works
out..........He's not too bad about it though.....I haven't bitten
through any nails yet, but my jaw muscles do sometimes ache a little
bit.....

I can't think of a single way I don't like potatoes cooked....and they
aren't half bad raw. I always munch a slice or two when I'm peeling
them....The new ones are easy to prepare...I wash them good, then remove
eyes and any rough places and cook them peel and all. When I was growing
up that wouldn't have even been considered...you had to scrape
them.....Noticed the snow peas are about to quit bearing, but maybe the
rains and cool down we got today will pep them back up....Half runner
green beans are already twining up the fence, so ......Sugar snaps are
still blooming great...

Heather is to commended for getting a good education...If I hadn't been
so danged 'smart' back in my younger days I might have been smart enough
to get an education.....*grin* Sounds like Cheyanne needs a 40 acre field
to learn to drive that thing in, huh ? That's what I would insist
on....well, make that 60 acres ! Her injuries are serious enough to cause
her a lot of pain, I'm just glad they weren't worse.....

Old Buzz the 2 year old grandchild had something like that happen to him
the last time we took him to Wal Mart...I sat down on the electric cart
and pulled him into my lap as usual....Before I could get him settled
good he pressed the lever and we just about did a wheelie ! Hubby was
putting the cord away so was behind me......grabbed my upper arm..the
only thing he could reach...Of course this didn't stop us but did make it
a mite hard for me to control things.. I started fussing at Buzz and some
dude walking out of the store may have had to go home and change his
undies, because Buzz just about ran him down before I could get
control...Strangely enough the Greeter came and grounded ol Buzz....he
can no longer drive in Wal Mart......His usual chore is tooting the
horn....but he must have got tired of that and decided he had enough
experience to drive....Grownups can be so hard to please
sometimes......Jeannie T
