Mary , When I was starting college I worked as a
nurses Aid at a nursing home .It was culture shock for
me ,I grew up with my granny in my house and my other
grandparents had their own home and the family took
care of their needs .I learned a lot from the
residents and met me some real special people. There
were the sad cases but also some happy cases too .I
believe that there is a need for nursing homes but
some are a sad state of things .If I had too send some
one there I would definitly check the place out first
.The one i worked for was sponsored by the Lutheran
Church and was a good one . If your ma was there I
know she was my favorite !
